Theatres are back open. Are you booked in?

The time is finally here. After waiting what seems an eternity, theatres are starting to open back up. Its been a tough year to say the least with the entertainment industry taking a massive hit, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Show your support and help build up the industry that has given so much to us.

There are some great shows coming up. Below is a list of shows and musicals coming up north.


LEEDS

Leeds Playhouse – The theatre will welcome audiences back from May with family shows, exhibitions, monologues and more! Piaf starring Jenna Russell opens on 23 July.


SCARBOROUGH

Stephen Joseph Theatre – Scarborough's lovely venue has reopened, with the first show being Julie Hesmondhalgh's The Greatest Play in the History of the World… Alan Ayckbourn's 85th play The Girl Next Door can be seen from 4 June.


HUDDERSFIELD

'''Lawrence Batley Theatre – The beloved venue will stage a summer season featuring an Alan Ayckbourn double-bill, Charles Court Opera, The Handlebards and more, with an opening date of 7 June.


MANCHESTER/ GREATER MANCHESTER

HOME Manchester – When you're HOME, head outdoors! The theatre is building a new al fresco space.

C-o-n-t-a-c-t – The immersive experience heads to Manchester and Salford from May.

Bolton Octagon – Plans are tbc but there is A Christmas Carol already set for November!

Oldham Coliseum – The venue reopens on 24 June with what is billed as an "eclectic" summer season, beginning with The Greatest Play in the History of the World….

Royal Exchange - Its newly announced season kicks off on 23 June.
